About Sue

With over 35 years experience working with families, babies and children, Sue’s journey started in 1986 qualifying as an accredited Nursery Nurse (NNEB)

Since then, Sue’s career has led her from professional Nannying, supervising a Day Nursery, Maternity Nursing, Sleep Consultant, to being part of the NHS Health Visiting Team for 18 years working as a Community Nursery Nurse.
It was here, where Sue became intrigued and passionate about the mother and baby attachment and bonding process. To enhance her skills further, Sue qualified as an accredited Touchlearn Baby Massage & Baby Yoga Teacher in 2007.

Baby Massage has been proven to help improve both a parents and babies emotional & physical wellbeing and further enhance the baby-parent bonding process. I feel privileged to share my knowledge and skills in my classes, encouraging parents to use my wealth of experience to help them navigate the first year of parenthood”.

Sue understands the importance of bringing and uniting parents and babies together in a relaxed environment, promoting a positive post natal experience for peri natal mental health.
The format of Sue’s classes include time for parents to chat and get to know each other, with refreshments and homemade cake provided at the end of each session (yum!).

It is testimony to Sue that she has recently provided Baby Massage classes for Jessie and her baby Arlo. Some 34 years ago Sue was nanny to Jessie!

As well as running her Suething Hands Baby Massage business, Sue is mum to 3 beautiful grown up children.
